Stunning setting, adjacent to Whitby, the sea and the pubs. Also, right in the heart of the town.

Clean hotel, liked to be just off harbour and Whitby and town centre thanks to marvellous location. All the staff was polite and pleasant, resolved my issues. I had really nice experience and would stay here again.

Immaculate apartment with a modern kitchen and cozy atmosphere.
Difficult to navigate back to the hotel from town. A better route description is needed.

We walked to the seafront and explored the harbour, checking out local shops and restaurants. The place was clean with comfy beds, and breakfast was fantastic! Staff were super friendly, and the parking pass made things easy. Definitely recommend trying the full English breakfast!
The en suite facilities in our room were a bit cramped, made getting ready in the morning a challenge.

Would be happy to recommend for an overnight stay.
Cozy room, spacious bathroom, with a delicious breakfast that included fresh fruit, yoghurts, and a full English that kept us satisfied well into the afternoon. The location is fabulous just a 5-minute walk to the beach.
Was all great.

Perfect location and delicious breakfast
The cute atmosphere. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to the beach and town center. Breakfast was a highlight-especially enjoying the full English along with a choice of cereals and fruits. My only suggestion would be to consider adding a fan in the room for warmer days.

Just spent 4 nights at the Chiltern, a good stay! The warm welcome set a cozy tone, and my room was spacious and clean. Ideal location for walking around Whitby, although finding parking during evenings was a bit of a challenge.

The breakfast spread boasted a great selection with eight types of cereal and fresh fruit, ensuring everyone starts their day right. The parking option, only £1 for four days, really took the hassle out of finding a spot and made it easy to enjoy the local scene.
The en suite facilities in the Standard Single Room felt cramped, particularly the hand basin, made morning routines a bit of a squeeze. Though the ample cupboard space and a large desk was a nice touch, the overall layout could use some adjustments for a more functional experience. A fan would've been useful on warmer days since the heat can be a bit stifling without one.
